Capstone Course (Keystone Course)
A course designed to give students an opportunity to use knowledge and skills acquired during their studies, while faculty are able to evaluate what a student has learned. Capstone or keystone courses may be required at the beginning or near the end of an MBA, either to lay the groundwork for material to come or to demonstrate the student's mastery of material already learned. There are different types of capstone courses, depending on the school and program.
