IACBE stands for the International Assembly for Collegiate Business Education. IACBE was founded in 1997 and it differs from other accrediting bodies, in that it grants accreditation based on an assessment of educational outcomes. The IACBE exists to encourage, develop, and recognize excellence in business education, and accredits business and business-related degree programs in colleges and universities that offer bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees. IACBE currently has over 200 members in the US and around the world.
