A dual MBA/JD degree program is an intensive, integrated curriculum specifically designed for students with an interest in working in the interdisciplinary field of law and business. Complex issues requiring this expertise arise in the context of business planning, employment and labor law, and trademark and bankruptcy, among others. One need only look at the history of our society, as well as at both business and law school offerings, to see that numerous concerns are common to both, especially in such areas as labor, antitrust and corporate finance. Legal considerations affect many management decisions, and the quality of the practice of law is enhanced by a better understanding of the business policy considerations involved.
Students graduate with a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and a Doctor of Laws (Juris Doctor, or JD) degree.
