The MSc (Master's of Science) in Finance degree is similar to the MBA in Finance, with a greater focus on research. A specialization in Finance as part of a Master's of Science is designed to prepare students for superior achievement in the highly competitive, complex and rapidly changing world of finance. Students will study capital markets, corporate financial management and foreign exchange markets as well as risk management and financial engineering.
The MSc in Finance is aimed at students who wish to continue on to a PhD degree after completing their MSc. The MSc requires all students to complete and defend a thesis in addition to completing required coursework.
